Prior to your treatment, your skin will be cleansed and numbing cream applied to your treatment area. Restylane Kysse will then be injected into your lips once the numbing cream had a chance to work. Because this filler is formulated with lidocaine to help numb your lips, you should not feel any discomfort during your treatment. Dr. Walker may gently massage the treated area(s) to ensure that the filler is evenly distributed for a natural-looking and smooth result. The entire process is fairly quick, taking only about 15-30 minutes to complete.

Because Restylane Kysse injections are a non-surgical treatment, there is no downtime. Clients can re-apply makeup or lipstick and go back to work immediately or continue their everyday routine. Mild bruising and some swelling typically occur within the first 24 hours that lasts up to three days, rarely longer. You should avoid touching or pushing on your lips for the first 24 hours following your treatment to ensure the best results. It is also recommended to minimize strenuous activity and exposure to heat or sun for 24 hours after treatment.
